Sanford Contractors, Samet Awarded CCCC Moore Center Project
Sanford Contractors, in partnership with Samet, has been awarded the Phase 1 renovation of the Central Carolina Community College (CCCC) E. Eugene Moore Manufacturing and Biotech Solutions Center. This significant project involves transforming approximately 22,500 square feet of the existing Moore Center into a state-of-the-art facility for continuing education and curriculum training programs, along with new construction and site improvements.
The renovation will include advanced training facilities for manufacturing and biotechnology, aligning with regional economic development goals and supporting local workforce training initiatives. This project is expected to have a substantial positive impact on the community by providing cutting-edge resources for education and skill development.
“Our participation in this transformative project further validates our role as a locally trusted contractor of choice, our commitment to supporting community growth, and the strength of our joint venture partnership with Samet,” said Blake Baur, vice president of commercial building at Sanford Contractors. “The Moore Center renovation is an excellent opportunity for us to showcase our expertise and contribute to the region’s development. This center will cement CCCC’s position as a statewide leader in skills training and development.”
Preconstruction services are currently underway, with construction expected to commence in early 2026. Sanford Contractors is committed to ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
