Sanford Contractors’ Family Day was One for the Books

Family Day 2024 was one of the best yet.

The sun was shining, the irresistible scent of funnel cakes and kettle corn was inescapable, and the sounds of laughter filled the air as the SCI team and their families gathered for a day full of fun and fellowship at Gross Farms.

Attendees enjoyed a delicious lunch from a variety of food trucks in between activities like face painting, cornhole, scavenger hunts, prize raffles, hayrides, the pumpkin jump, and pedal kart races – to name a few. While some packed in as many activities as possible, others took the opportunity to unwind and reconnect with colleagues from other divisions or SCI retirees. Either approach guaranteed a good time for all.

The day culminated with closing remarks from SCI President Donnie Oldham about the value of togetherness. Events like our annual Family Day allow the SCI team to connect beyond the workplace – strengthening our ties, building community and reinforcing SCI’s dedication to supporting our team’s wellbeing.
