Meet Blake Baur – Vice President of SCI’s Commercial Building Division. Blake joined the Sanford Contractors team in August, bringing with him an energetic and intentional leadership style, along with a deep commitment to excellence and authenticity. 

Blake was thrilled with the opportunity to join SCI because of the company’s commitment to making a positive impact on the community and its core values that align closely with his own. A passionate and faith-driven leader, Blake considers it a privilege to represent SCI in day-to-day interactions with our partners.

What does he like most about his role? The opportunity to shape an environment in which people thrive. “Witnessing team members overcome challenges, grow, and prosper through the right application of effort and leadership is incredibly fulfilling to me. When our people succeed, we succeed,” shares Blake. His goal as a leader is to always foster a positive and team-oriented work environment.

Outside of work, Blake enjoys exercise, sports, and spending time with his children. A transplant from the Washington, DC area, he and his family have found a true sense of home in Sanford, surrounded by family, friends, church, and community.
