All Saints Catholic Church: “Not Just a Project, But a Privilege”

Sanford Contractors’ Commercial Building Division recently completed a significant expansion project for All Saints Catholic Parish in Hampstead, NC. This beautiful project showcases the SCI team’s exceptional craftsmanship and commitment to building strong, lasting relationships.
Tasked with expanding All Saints’ facilities to address capacity constraints, SCI began vertical construction on April 1st, 2024. The 18,000 sq. ft. expansion, which includes a new sanctuary and eight classrooms, was completed just one year later.
The SCI team delivered this project on time, within budget, and to the total satisfaction of our partners. The new sanctuary now seats nearly 750, almost double the original capacity.
Each seat was filled for the church’s Dedication Mass on April 2nd, 2025. Project Manager Kurt Roof and Superintendent David Marlowe were deeply honored to be included in the Dedication Ceremony.
At Sanford Contractors, relationships are the driving force behind what we do. In 2019, we completed a similar expansion project for St. Stephen Catholic Church in Sanford, NC, during which we collaborated closely with Mike Berry at WKWW Architects. The strong relationship we built during the St. Stephen project led to a referral for the All Saints project.
In addition to WKWW Architects, Sanford Contractors was proud to work hand-in-hand with the All Saints New Facilities Committee, the Diocese of Raleigh, and numerous local subcontractors and vendors to bring this vision to life.
“This project was so special to us,” shared Kurt Roof. “Building this church was always viewed as not just a project, but a privilege.”
