On January 31^st, the entire Sanford Contractors team came together for Leadership Summit 2025 – a day filled with fellowship, reflection, and goal setting for the year ahead.

This year’s theme was Mission & Values. At Sanford Contractors, we believe that every team member plays a crucial role in achieving our mission, and that our values guide us in Building with Trust.

The agenda for the Leadership Summit was brimming with impactful and engaging activities. Team members shared personal insights and applications of our mission and values during engaging group table discussions, learned the importance of a collective mission from a guest speaker, received updates from division leadership, and attended breakout sessions. We also celebrated team members for achieving years of service milestones, ranging from 1 year to 50 years, and awarded Justin Bush with the 2024 Brent Sloan Safety Award.

This year’s Leadership Summit concluded with the Inaugural SCI Equipment Rodeo. Teams from each Division went head-to-head in a series of equipment challenges to see who would claim the title of SCI Equipment Rodeo Champions. The Equipment Rodeo facilitated team building and was fun for all! Congratulations to Mike Hester, Justin Joyce, Brian Dalrymple, Jason Manning, and Ricky Morales, “The Smooth Operators” from the Site Division, for bringing home the title.
